Kathryn Bitner Bryan Memorial Funds
At the age of 18, a scholarship changed Kathy's life. Because of that scholarship, she attended Montana State, earned a degree in Chemical Engineering and pursued a career for 43 years until a stray bullet took her life during her commute home from work in June of 2022. She took great pride in mentoring, supporting, and elevating women in a male-dominated field. Through these funds her work will continue.
About Kathy
Kathy earned a degree in Chemical Engineering from Montana State and later an MBA from The Citadel in South Carolina while working full time and raising two sons. She was a quiet leader of men, and a strongly principled woman with a career spanning 43 years at major chemical companies across the US. At the time of her death, she was the Global Engineering Manager for SACHEM in Cleburne, Texas.
She traveled the world with her husband and children along with work related trips, visiting over 30 countries, but there was no place more comforting than a home decorated by her. She was looking forward to visiting as many National Parks and Texas State Parks as possible with her husband and dogs in their RV when she retired.
